Coach Cline graduated from Thomas Worthington High School in 1993 where he played football, wrestling and track. He attended the University of Dayton where he started for three seasons on the offensive line and was named All-American both his junior and senior seasons. During his fifth year of college, he coached under Jim Place at Chaminade-Julienne High School. After graduation, he accepted a job at Wantz Middle School in Miamisburg. He started as the head freshman coach, then was moved to varsity defensive line, then offensive line and offensive coordinator. In March 2007 he succeeded Tim Lewis as head football coach.

Steve Kurtz graduated from Preble Shawnee High School in 1997 where he played football, basketball, and baseball. He attended Ohio Northern University where he was a 4 year letterman as a fullback and earned a degree in business management.

Summary:

This will be my fourth year of coaching the defensive backs for the 'Burg. I taught and coached Varsity football at Mason from 00-04. I was the JV D Coordinator and the Defensive backs coach for the three years I was there.

I graduated from Miami University in 99 and received my Masters degree from the University of Dayton in 04.

I live in Miamisburg with my wife Lindsay and our two boys Jake-5 and Trace-2. We are expecting a little girl on May 30 and her name will be Ava.

It has been absolutely awesome to come back and teach and coach where I went to school and played from 90-94. I have a lot of great memories from all of the wonderful people that I went to school with and kids that I have coached.
